Aria of Sorrow

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow was first released for the Gameboy Advance in 2003. In Japan, it is called Castlevania ~Minuet of Dawn~. The story focuses on Soma Cruz, who, in 2035, visits the shrine of a friend to see a solar eclipse. He is suddenly transported to a castle, where he meets Genya Arikado, who tells him they are in Dracula's castle, inside the eclipse, and to proceed to the throne room. (In other words, game start! XD)

The best thing about Aria of Sorrow, in my opinion, is the brilliant battle system. Soma's power is the dominance of souls, which means he can take the soul of an enemy and use it in a number of different ways. It's terribly addicting to try to collect all of the souls @.@;

I bought AoS on a whim — I'd heard the games were good, and thought I'd like to try 'em out. I was pleased to find it was a great game (and soon after bought the sequel, Dawn of Sorrow :D) and recommend it to anyone who likes action games. It's kind of a action/RPG/platform mix that somehow manages to work really well. :D

More information will come shortly!
